Private aircraft charter prices are usually quoted on a flight-hour basis, and there are several key variables that drive the final cost. The type of aircraft, flight duration, fuel, seasonality, crew fees and additional service such as, in-flight catering, ground transportation and any other special service make up the billing for a private flight.

Here’s an overview of the key factors that drive the price we quote to our clients before they confirm a booking, and will be in the final bill once the flight is completed:

• Aircraft Type and Size: Simply put, larger aircraft cost more to operate, so the bigger the jet the higher the hourly rate. We provide different categories of private jets ranging from light jets to large ones, and selecting the right sized aircraft for the job can help right-size the cost. Each aircraft in our fleet has an appropriate hourly rate reflecting its cost of operation and its payload and range capabilities, so we match the aircraft to the mission to ensure best value for our customers.  The hourly rate we quote includes all direct operating costs of the aircraft, including fuel, crew costs, navigation charges and allocations for maintenance on the aircraft and engines.
   
• Point-to-point Distance: The further we fly, the more flight time is incurred and more fuel is burned. Greater distances obviously equate to more flight hours, which in turn increases the variable direct operating cost of the aircraft. Smaller aircraft have lower direct operating costs and therefore typically cost less on a per hour basis than larger ones. • Additional charges: In addition to the flight hours incurred on the aircraft there are a plethora of other possible charges incurred for ancillary services related to your particular itinerary. In this category, flying on a Hawker 800/900 series aircraft is a very popular option. This aircraft, known for its large cabin, can be chartered at an hourly rate of ranging between INR 4,00,000 to INR 4,50,000 per hour, sometimes less.

• Super Midsize Jets: The Super Midsize category brings larger cabins and luxurious fittings, with impressive range and speed for medium and long-haul flights, both domestic and international transcontinental flights.
